The process to select the events for London 2012 swimming competition is now finalized and can be found below:

2010 Paralympic Games - list of  events

For the very first time swimming will have a 10 days programme, with 148 events, that are grouped as core events and 2nd tier events. Each event on the programme has to meet the criteria identified in the documents published.

With this process IPC Swimming is ensuring the transparency during the medal event selection process, where all the events are considered and taken into account to be part of the Paralympic Programme.
