IPC Swimming Educator and Recertification Course 2012

Following the classifiers' educator and recertification course in March 2011 IPC Swimming is now organizing the second educator and recertification course in May 2012. IPC Swimming Level 1 and Level 2 classifiers are expected to attend the training to aim for their certification.

The Educator's training will take place on 7-9 May 2012 in Troisdorf, Germany. The invited classifiers will work together with the IPC Academy Trainers, and their education will ensure that different regions have a certified Educator who can further help the region's classification education.

The Classifier's course will then take place on 10-12 May 2012 in the same place as the Educators' training. All IPC Swimming classifiers are welcomed to this event. The purpose of the course is to ensure all classifiers are familiar and are working aligned with the IPC Swimming classification procedures, rules and regulations. The IPC Swimming Classifiers' course is compulsory for all classifier to maintain their certification (see IPC Swimming Classifier's Pathway).

The deadline to apply for these courses is 01 March 2012.

The IPC Academy is the education arm of the International Paralympic Committee. It is a partnership of the IPC and World Academy of Sport with its headquarters based in Manchester, UK.
